Jordan 1 Low
"Triple White"

The pristine white construction of this Jordan 1 Low lends a powerful elegance to the iconic silhouette. A monochrome sole unit underpins the design as white fills out all of the many grip formations on the outsole, from the star-shaped nodes on the tip of the toe to the chunky lugs below the heel and everything in between. The same can be said of the midsole, which has white stitching sewn around its top edge and Air cushioning inside its heel. A blanket of cushy foam completes the midsole padding so that the entire foot is supported.
Meanwhile, the all-over white upper continues the graceful lightness begun by the sole unit. Stylish layering occurs throughout, firstly in the forefoot, where the toe box, with its breathable perforations, is overlaid around its edge by a protective mudguard that is attached via two intricate lines of stitching. Just behind this leather panel is a pair of overlays that fold upwards from the midsole to cover the bottom of the eyestay. On each side, these two components share three eyelets, with four more in the eyestay itself. White laces maintain the sneaker’s singular tone as they thread through the asymmetrical eyelets, as does the tongue, whose upper part features a carefully embroidered Jumpman. The use of white thread once more lends the design a compelling subtlety which extends to other sections of the shoe as well.
Just like the forefoot, the heel has been divided into a series of layers that give this Air Jordan 1 added depth. The top sheet of leather forms the heel counter, which has white Air Jordan Wings sewn into it. Above this in the center of the heel is a small rectangle of leather out of which the next layer emerges – two Nike swooshes. These move down along the midfoot panels, which form the next layer of the back half of the sneaker. The last section is the low-cut collar, whose smooth exterior gives way at the topline to a soft mesh. This goes on to form the padded inner lining, before the insole brings a gentle change to the otherwise white color scheme with its muted off-white hue. This allows the white Jumpman to appear distinctly upon it, presenting a graceful conclusion to this Triple White colorway.
