This Nike Air Force 1 Mid ‘07 x Stüssy comes in a completely grayscale finish that brings it a sleek appearance. Black and white combine over its Air-cushioned sole unit, with the former tone spreading across the outsole to cover everything from its pivot-circle grip patterns to the star-shaped nodes at its toe and heel. A hint of black even shows up on the otherwise white midsole as it decorates the Air lettering emerging from its lateral heel and the thick embossed lines that reach out either side of it.

On the upper, a subtly different tonal variation occurs, beginning with more black on the tumbled leather overlays in the forefoot, eyestay and heel. This last section merges into the sneaker’s ankle strap on the medial side of the mid-cut collar, where it wraps around the front of the shin. It ends in a hook-and-loop closure system that is fastened onto a strip of Velcro on the lateral flank. While the strap is entirely black, the word “Stüssy” is embroidered into it in bold white letters for a powerful look. Just below this, a black leather swoosh extends downwards from the heel panel across the midfoot. This occurs on each of the sneaker’s sidewalls, with the large midfoot panels appearing in Light Bone to contrast the black sections surrounding them. The tongue and toe box feature this same off-white tone before a series of stylish branding effects adorn the shoe.

In the center of the black heel panel is a circular metal badge with Stüssy’s SS logo in the middle. With this adding a classy touch to the rear of the sneaker, the toe box gets its own motif, its perforations artfully arranged into another one of Stüssy’s logos. Meanwhile, the white tongue label has the name of the American fashion house in its signature handwritten font along with a swoosh and the names of cities associated with the brand, such as New York and Tokyo, all in black. The rim of the tongue and the shoe’s mesh inner lining both repeat this dark hue, and the insole is white. A classic piece of Nike Air branding text is printed upon it in black to finish this dapper design.
