Nike Air Humara

Earthy tones have been combined with durable features across this Nike Air Humara, making it both practical and stylish. It is built upon a sturdy outsole with thick rubber pods lined up along its forefoot and heel. These areas are bolstered by spiky structures below the toe, heel and flanks, which all come together to provide excellent grip underfoot. Aesthetically, its surface is mostly black, but Pear-colored diamonds decorate the rear of the forefoot and a larger diamond-shaped logo adorns the middle of the outsole. The word “Trail” is debossed into it and a green Nike swoosh lies at its center, while Pear Air lettering and a Dark Pony swoosh show up beneath the heel.

The black rubber of the outsole then wraps up over the front of the toe to bring added protection there. Just behind this piece, the midsole begins, its exterior coated in a shimmering layer of iridescent Dark Pony purple. Rows of diamonds highlight its surface, which becomes chunkier as it moves towards the heel, and flex grooves have been pressed into the forefoot and heel, ensuring that the shoe is both supportive and flexible. Concealed within this solid frame are two specialized cushioning units: Zoom Air in the forefoot and encapsulated Nike Air in the heel. With these bouncy elements in place, the sole unit also transfers high levels of comfort to the wearer.

On the upper, the shoe’s practical qualities shine through once more as suede paneling in a deep shade of green known as Pacific Moss has been layered up to form an extensive mudguard on the toe, as well as additional ones along the flanks and around the heel. Each is firmly held down with double lines of stitching, while the latter two pieces have extra thread in the lighter Pear green sewn through them. On the flanks, these woven details trace the strips of textile that form the shoe’s webbed lacing system as each one reaches up the sidewall before looping back on itself to create an eyelet for the Pear laces to pass through. Meanwhile, the two strips on the heel disappear beneath an oval-shaped tab with a black swoosh embroidered into it and emerge on the other side as one single piece that pokes upwards to form a pull tab. Each of these strips displays a consistent tonal makeup: Pacific Moss edges and an undulating line of Dark Pony through the center. A similar color scheme decorates the heel, though this time with Pear on the outer areas and dark purple over its central parts.

Beneath the suede panels traversing the upper is a durable textile underlayer in a contrasting Pear tone. This fills in the flanks and the forefoot before making its way up to the top of the tongue. Here, another pull tab can be found above a black patch with a thickly embroidered Dark Pony outline and a swoosh woven through its center along with the word “Air”, both in Pear-colored thread. The pull tab moves under this patch before reappearing on its other side and moving down the center of the tongue, where it forms several loops to hold the laces securely in place. At the bottom of the tongue, it connects to a Dark Pony overlay which fans out as it reaches the forefoot mudguard and has a Pear swoosh embroidered into it.

Yet more Pacific Moss overlays arc from the forefoot and across the flanks before ending at the heel mudguard. Just above the seam between these two panels on the lateral side, Air text has been embroidered, once again indicating the soft cushioning held inside the midsole. Internally, almost everything is black, from the breathable inner lining to the padded insole. The only thing that deviates from this is the square-shaped emblem on the latter feature, whose Pear coloration delineates a trail with a black swoosh printed onto it. This adornment hints at the shoe’s ability to withstand the rigors of trail running, while, back on the outer, the flanks host one final branding element. Each displays a Nike swoosh that is larger than the others found across the sneaker and is made from light green leather, thus finishing off this rugged Air Humara with a classic touch.
