Nike Dunk Low

The sleek design of this Nike Dunk Low gives it a suave look. Known as the Black Panda 2.0, it comes in the bold two-tone color-blocking of other Panda designs, but manages to establish its own unique identity. The use of white is minimal on this sneaker, appearing initially on the midsole, which is positioned atop a black outsole. Strong grip lines define this latter feature, the blocky structures beneath the heel allowing the wearer to plant their foot with confidence, and the pivot-circles under the forefoot favoring easy twists and turns.

Smooth leather coats the upper, from the perforated toe box to the back of the heel overlay, with much of it covered in slick black tones. This includes both of the aforementioned sections, as well as the forefoot mudguard, the midfoot panels, the eyestay and the collar. The tongue is also black, as are the laces, but the Nike branding on the woven tongue label stands out strongly in white. This striking effect is repeated inside the shoe, where the black insole and inner lining contrast against another set of Nike text and a swoosh, which are both white.

Intricate lines of stitching join the various panels of the upper together, for a handcrafted feel, with additional bands sewn in parallel around the back of the foot. Just above these is a white leather heel tab that has been embroidered with black Nike text in eye-catching uppercase letters. Then, in a final colorful flourish, white leather swooshes sweep down from the heel and along the sides of the shoe to settle firmly atop the midfoot panels.
