Nike Dunk Low
This pair of Nike Dunk Lows has a classic two-tone design that brings it heritage style. Its retro look begins on the rubber cupsole unit, which is divided into a white midsole and a University Blue outsole. The former features a band of stitching that runs in a groove around its entire circumference, while the latter has a set of grip patterns that offer the wearer good levels of traction and support. These include concentric circles to aid forefoot pivoting and sturdy lugs under the heel. Below the archway of the foot, a large indented section has the word “Nike” and a swoosh emerging from it.
Meanwhile, the upper combines the same two colors across its premium leather surface. White acts as the foundational layer and is visible in the toe box, through the midfoot panels, around the heel and just below the collar. Resting atop this is a series of University Blue overlays made of more durable leather. There is the forefoot mudguard, which is overlapped at the top by the eyestay, which in turn is overlapped by the rear overlay. As such, this last feature has eyelets pressed into it so that the University Blue laces thread through it at the top.
The small semi-circular heel panel also displays this soft shade of blue, and its surface has been embroidered with bold white Nike text. Appearing from underneath it is a pair of University Blue swooshes. These reach down the shoe’s flanks before moving over the top of the rear overlay to rest on the midfoot panel. On top of the foot, the white canvas tongue has been given a blue edge, and a white patch with University Blue Nike branding can be seen at its peak. A final set of Nike lettering stands out in white on the insole as the rest of the inner is completely blue, thus completing this elegant design.
