Nike Air Force 1 Low Retro
This pair of AF1 Low Retro sneakers features a duo of muted tones for a refined look. The first of these is Oil Green, showing up initially on the translucent outsole and then again across the majority of the upper. On the sole, it covers the ringed tread that supplies the shoe with excellent grip, as well as the star-shaped nodes and uniformly spaced lugs around its perimeter. Meanwhile, over the upper, it has a slightly different appearance as it coats the plush suede that makes up each segment of its exterior. The use of such material brings the shoe a premium feel from heel to toe, filling out the vamp, midfoot and heel, as well as the eyestay, all in Oil Green.
Set between these two khaki layers is a bouncy Summit White midsole. There is a line of stitching around its top edge, below which the surface changes from a smooth complexion to a more textured one, and Air lettering rising up from the lateral heel indicates that it has luxurious cushioning hidden inside. With comfort assured underneath, perforations in the toe box and midfoot panels offer pleasant aeration, while the canvas tongue and stretchy mesh inner maintain softness all around the foot.
To add more style to the mix, aspects of Summit White branding are dispersed across the design. Firstly, Nike Air text highlights the insole and tongue patch, and a swoosh has been sewn into the toe end of the eyestay. Elsewhere, the heel panel displays embroidered Nike Air lettering which has been capitalized for a dramatic effect. Shortened white swooshes have been set into the sidewalls, their exhilarating jeweled appearance invigorating the flanks. To top off the sneaker, a white shoe brush printed with the words “Since 1982.” is delivered with each pair so that the wearer can keep the suede exterior pristine at all times.
