Nike Air Force 1 Low x Supreme DN1555-200 01

This dapper Nike Air Force 1 Low SP x Supreme features a monochromatic upper with sophisticated branding effects for a shoe that is eminently stylish. Its sole unit comes in another singular tone of Gum Light Brown, which covers the concentric circular grip patterns radiating across the heel and forefoot of the outsole. While these ringed indentations provide a combination of traction and ease of movement, the lugs along its sides supply all-round grip underfoot, and the stars embossed on the toe and heel add an intriguing aesthetic touch. The midsole then shows up in the same pleasing shade of brown as the outsole, its lateral heel displaying the word “Air” and its interior containing the soft cushioning that this text signifies. A thick line has been embossed around the heel to draw attention to this lettering, and above it, there is a band of light brown stitching that visually separates the sole unit from the rest of the shoe.

The upper, meanwhile, is covered in fine nubuck whose Flax coloration has earned the sneaker the nickname Wheat. It also gives the design a suave appearance, which is bolstered by the intricate stitching that follows the edges of each panel in either single or double lines. The latter can be seen on the forefoot mudguard, the rear overlay and the inner edge of the eyestay, while the former features on the sidewall swooshes, the heel tab and the strip of nubuck that runs down the center of the heel to the midsole. A single line of stitching also skirts the outer edge of the eyestay, which has a brown Nike swoosh subtly embroidered into its toe end surrounded by another semi-circular piece of thread. Durable rope-style laces criss-cross over the tongue, both in the same Flax tone, and a metallic silver dubrae holds the former firmly in place at the bottom. AF-1 text has been etched into its shiny surface above the word “Supreme” in delicately crafted letters.

Inside, more rich brown hues coat the plush lining, the insole and the back of the tongue, lending the sneaker both cozy comfort and a cohesive aesthetic. Dual branding has then been printed onto the sockliner in the form of a white Nike Air logo and the famous Supreme box emblem, with its iconic red and white tones. Further dual branding can be found on the tongue label, whose surface is tinged a very pale shade of brown, thus allowing it to maintain the shoe’s tonal theme while also providing adequate contrast against the text woven into it. This includes another Nike Air logo, the words “Air Force 1” and the Supreme logo, here all in Flax-colored embroidery. Yet more Nike Air text has been sewn into the heel tab in the same appealing hue, before a flash of red and white highlights the lateral heel where the Supreme box logo has been pressed into the brown nubuck in all its colorful glory.
