Nike Air Force 1 Shadow

A gorgeous combination of pastel tones gives this Air Force 1 Shadow an appealing vibrancy. The outsole starts things off with a creamy, off-white hue that covers the deep circular indentations across its surface. This color continues up into the midsole, which has Air text decorating its lateral heel in a deep shade of pink called Sea Coral. Just above this, an additional band of leather in a lighter pink tone known as Coral Chalk bridges the cupsole and the upper. Embossed on top of this is Indigo Haze Air lettering that mirrors the text underneath.

This doubling up of elements is a theme across the design. The forefoot, for example, is protected by two mudguards, one a light gray tone, the other Indigo Haze. These wrap around a toe box made of a linen-like material that features small raised bobbles where the perforations would normally sit, creating an alternative look. Over the top of the foot, a pair of eyestays carries on the color variation, the top layer appearing in white and the lower one Coral Chalk. In the bottom of the white eyestay, Indigo Haze AF1 lettering has been debossed – a formation that is repeated in the white lace lock above, where it is all in white.

Elsewhere, the soft mesh tongue has two patches sewn into it, one with Indigo Haze Nike Air branding on a white background, the other with white branding against Coral Chalk. The rim of the tongue and the inner lining are also Indigo Haze, while the padded insole is white with dual branding that again exhibits a mixture of the pink and purple tones found across the rest of the sneaker. The midfoot panel is made from the same textured fabric as the toe box, and the rear overlay is Sea Coral. Resting over both these sections on the shoe’s medial flank is a Coral Chalk leather swoosh. Then, on the opposite side, a duo of swooshes – Coral Chalk over Indigo Haze – stretches from midfoot to heel.

The rear part of the shoe brings together all the colors and layers from across the design to finish things off in style. Atop the Sea Coral bottom layer is an Indigo Haze heel strip, and above that there are two heel panels. The first is Sea Coral with off-white Nike text, and the uppermost is the same creamy hue as the outsole, with Coral Chalk Nike lettering sewn into it to add the final touch.
